Skilleto is the first job portal of its kind that, in addition to a wide range of options for searching and filtering job posts, also offers the option of a so-called inverse search. That is the exclusion of criteria from the search. For example, if you are looking for job posts that require knowledge of Java but don’t want anything to do with Javascript, it’s easy for Skilleto. By the way, we wrote about everything that our search engine enables in the last article Job search options. Cleverly, how else…
What about taking this idea even further? For example, being able to enter “unwanted skills” directly into your professional profile on Skilleto and not have to constantly enter them into the search. That’s exactly what Ignored Skills is all about. A relatively inconspicuous section was added to the Roles and Skills section. Inconspicuous but effective.
The principle of this section is really simple – you enter here all the skills that you simply don’t care about and don’t want to deal with in the future.

This action has two important effects. First of all – all job posts containing skills you ignore will be excluded from the scoring and thus fall to the very bottom of the list, among those that are not very relevant to you.

And secondly – it won’t be possible to offer you job posts that contain skills you ignore. You are obviously not suitable candidates for such positions and therefore we won’t allow being offered irrelevant positions to you. We are not LinkedIn 😉
We’re Skilleto, a smart job portal
